Polston Tax Resolution & Accounting is seeking a Tax Audit Enrolled Agent to become an integral part of our IRS Audit team! Requirements

• Enrolled Agent, active status
• Minimum of one year of experience practicing in tax representation.
• Minimum of three years relevant tax experience.
• A positive attitude and customer service mindset with a strong work ethic.
• Exceptional interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills with great follow up.
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent organizational skills with the skill to prioritize tasks efficiently.
• Ability to accomplish/complete a task while demonstrating a thorough concern for all the areas involved, no matter how small.
• Capacity to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
• Capability to function in a fast-paced environment.
• Comfortable with a lot of client interaction
• Receives enjoyment from problem solving and working through issues with clients and team members.
• Adaptable and a team player when priorities shift, or unexpected challenges arise.
• Access to the following equipment to perform the required work duties.
• A computer, laptop, monitor(s), tablet and/or smart phone.
• Internet - a minimum of 50 Mbps internet service with a recommended speed of 100 Mbps for optimal performance.
• Satisfactory background and reference checks.

What Will You Do?

The Audit Enrolled Agent will be responsible for representing our clients in front of the IRS and/or state government agencies in examinations.

• Research and develop strategies to defend client’s position while considering their specific goals.
• Consistently communicate with clients via email/phone/video call/mail regarding their audit plan, case updates, and expectations.
• Prioritize and manage caseload and assignments.
• Respond in a timely manner to client inquiries and requests.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
