As a key member of our Proactive Security Operations team, you'll play a critical role in safeguarding arenaflex's Customer Service operations by identifying and addressing potential security threats before they become major issues.

Job Description

As a Proactive Security Engineer on our Customer Service Security team, you'll be responsible for:

  • Identifying and addressing potential security threats to arenaflex's Customer Service operations, including phishing attacks, malware, and other types of cyber threats
  • Developing and implementing proactive security measures to prevent security breaches and protect customer data
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including Customer Service, Engineering, and Product Management, to ensure that security is integrated into all aspects of arenaflex's operations
  • Conducting regular security audits and risk assessments to identify areas for improvement
  • Developing and maintaining security policies and procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations
  • Providing training and support to arenaflex employees on security best practices and procedures
  • Staying up-to-date with the latest security threats and trends, and adapting arenaflex's security posture accordingly

Essential Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field

  • 5+ years of experience in security engineering, with a focus on proactive security measures and threat prevention
  • Strong understanding of security protocols, including encryption, firewalls, and access control
  • Experience with security tools and technologies, including SIEM systems, intrusion detection systems, and security information and event management systems
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and address complex security threats
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information

Preferred Qualifications

* Master's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field

  • 7+ years of experience in security engineering, with a focus on proactive security measures and threat prevention
  • Experience with cloud security, including Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Azure
  • Experience with DevOps and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines
  • Strong knowledge of security frameworks and regulations, including HIPAA, PCI-DSS, and GDPR
  • Experience with security testing and vulnerability assessment tools, including penetration testing and red teaming
