Job Summary

We're seeking an experienced Sales Associate/Customer Service Representative to join our team in Grand Island, NE. As a key member of our sales and customer service team, you'll be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, promoting sales, and maintaining a clean and safe store environment. Key Responsibilities

* Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner

  • Promote sales of fuel, food, and other products, using effective sales techniques and product knowledge
  • Maintain a clean and safe store environment, adhering to arenaflex's high standards for cleanliness and safety
  • Work cooperatively with other team members to achieve sales and customer service goals
  • Report for work in a timely manner, with regular and consistent attendance
  • Participate in ongoing training and development programs to enhance sales and customer service skills
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management

Essential Qualifications

* High school diploma or equivalent required; some college or vocational training preferred

  • 1-2 years of experience in sales, customer service, or a related field
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers and team members
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a strong focus on customer satisfaction
  • Basic math skills and accuracy with handling cash and operating a point-of-sale system
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods of time

* Experience working in a fuel and convenience store environment

  • Knowledge of fuel and convenience store products and services
  • Bilingual or multilingual skills
  • Previous experience with sales and customer service software and systems
