A driven and mission-focused Prison Ministry Manager residing in the Dallas (north Texas) area to include the Texas Panhandle. You will be responsible for equipping and mobilizing local churches to identify and meet the needs of prisoners and their families. You will build relationships with church-based volunteers, pastors, corrections staff, and prison chaplains while coaching volunteer teams to meet ministry opportunities. Note: Our goal is to start our new hire in the beginning of June.
Expectations of the role:
In this key role covering north Texas including the Texas Panhandle, you will develop partnerships with the stakeholders mentioned above. In addition, you will coach volunteer teams to meet ministry goals while promoting teamwork and personal spiritual development. Implementing and executing ministry programs around Prison Fellowship's Academy curriculum and key in-prison events are also central job duties.
Qualifications:
- Maintain an active relationship with Jesus Christ and support the ministry through prayer and actions
- 8+ years of sales and territory management
- 2+ years of experience recruiting and managing volunteers
- A bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant experience
- Strong demonstrated ability to develop personal networking relationships
- This is a remote position with a 60% travel component mostly within the region, and the driving aspect of this role is subject to certain driving record and insurance requirements
- Candidate must reside in the north Texas area to adequately cover the territory
