PC Technician Supervisor

Remote, USA Full-time Posted 2026-06-17

As the Desktop Engineering Supervisor, you’ll be a hands-on leader of the team responsible for the installation, maintenance, monitoring, and support of all hardware and software installed in our end users’ work areas. You’ll get to dig in and work collaboratively within and outside of the systems team to not just identify and resolve root cause issues, but to help plan and implement desktop technologies. If you are a highly skilled desktop support professional looking to take that next step in your career, and you're interested in working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment where experience (member, employee, end-user) is at the heart of everything we do – consider applying for this role!

As our Desktop Engineering Supervisor with Community First Credit Union, you will

  • Lead and mentor a team of infrastructure professionals. Provide the technical guidance and leadership to ensure the team delivers effective problem resolution, while consulting with co-workers and vendors and communicating to stakeholders
  • Coordinate, prioritize, participate in, and escalate the execution of the workload for the team, including tickets, operational activities, and projects
  • Ensure a positive and secure end-user experience by delivering high quality and consistent processes for installing, managing, maintaining, and supporting all desktop hardware and software
  • Ensure technology is deployed efficiently and effectively, resulting in consistent, high quality, secure, and reliable functionality after deployment
  • Foster relationships with other teams by collaborating and assisting with procedure creation necessary to drive quick problem resolution
  • Coordinate, communicate, and execute our annual Lifecycle Management plan for desktop hardware and software
  • Ensure accurate asset management, data security, and process control execution.
  • Analyze problems for patterns and corrective actions and work with other IT leaders to adjust processes in order to continually improve the functionality, availability and security of end user devices

An ideal candidate will have a combination of the following

  • Associate’s degree in business, information systems, or related program preferred
  • 3-5 years driving end-user technologies as an individual contributor and/or project lead or team lead
  • Deep expertise in the use and troubleshooting of Microsoft Windows and Office suite, Wi-Fi, Active Directory, VoIP, PowerShell, Group Policy, ticketing systems, and OS imaging automation
  • Strong problem-solving and communication ability; demonstrated good judgement in evaluating daily tasks and priorities
  • Ability to multi-task, pivot as priorities change, and effectively organize and delegate work
  • Passion for process and all the details that come with it
  • Frequent local travel between credit union branch locations is required
