Context:

CTR – Regional Technical Centre of Systra India takes care of the international production of major projects at Systra Group level. CTR team has expertise in design of High-Speed Rail, Metro, Conventional Rail, Bridges, Highways, Depots, Stations and Transport Planning. Starting from Feasibility/Concept stage to Detailed Design to IFC/Shop drawings, the disciplines involved have experience of designing in accordance with various international codes and delivered projects across the world.

CTR team has successfully delivered some major projects in UK, UAE, Tanzania, KSA, Australia, Canada and Denmark. One of the major achievements of India CTR team has been the design of HS2 project in UK. We played an instrumental role in delivering 3 major Sublots on HS2 with our teams proactively engaging with Front Office in UK and delivering beyond client expectations. This resulted in India team receiving many accolades from the contractor BBV and client HS2. 

CTR team in India is proficient in working on multi-disciplinary projects integrating Design, BIM and Drawing production in a seamless workflow incorporating different software. The technical and management teams within CTR get an opportunity to work and interact with other CTR teams within Systra Group from Paris, Poland, Dubai, Philippines and Brazil.

Missions/Main Duties:

The Planner will provide remote support from India for Systra UK/ Other entity, including metro and high-speed rail initiatives. Operating within the framework of project controls. The role focuses on preparing, monitoring, and updating detailed project schedules using Primavera P6 and MS Project. With 3–5 years of planning experience in infrastructure or consulting environments, the Planner will collaborate closely with UK/Other entity-based stakeholders to align timelines, manage resources and costs, and ensure accurate reporting. This position requires strong communication skills, technical proficiency in scheduling tools, and the ability to integrate changes and risks into consolidated progress reports, thereby supporting effective project delivery across the lifecycle.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and maintain detailed project schedules for Systra UK/Other entity projects
  • Coordinate with UK/Other entity & associated stakeholders to ensure alignment on timelines and deliverables
  • Update the Schedule on weekly basis or as required in project
  • Manage resource and cost in the program
  • Implement Changes in the program in coordination with the Project Manager & PMOs
  • Provide schedule risk analysis and progress reporting
  • Provide consolidated project progress reports as per project specific templates.
Profile/Skills:

Experience: 3–5 years in project planning within infrastructure/design/consulting projects. Transportation Infra/ Metro/High speed rail will be preferred

Education Qualification: B. Tech in Civil Engineering; Master’s in Construction Management/MBA preferred

Key Skills

  • Primavera P6 and MS Project expertise (mandatory, prior hands-on experience)
  • Competency in MS Excel
  • Strong communication and stakeholder coordination skills
  • Ability to develop, monitor, and update project schedules
  • Knowledge of project controls and reporting processes
