The opportunity

Join EY GDS’s TD&E team to help US clients connect strategy to execution acting as their bridge from ambition to results.

You will help set up the right governance, including Transformation Management Offices (TMO), Enterprise PMOs (EPMO), or PMOs. As a Senior, you will work as part of a team to enable one or more of these capabilities - demand intake and prioritization, budgeting, portfolio scenario planning, program/portfolio/transformation execution, schedule management, risk & issue management, resource management, value planning & realization, KPI definition, performance reporting and data driven dashboards. You will also provide guidance to team members, deliver high quality client service on complex topics, and help spot ways EY can bring more value to clients.

Your key responsibilities

  • Strategic enablement: Partner with US engagement teams and client stakeholders as a co-creator, shaping solutions that align strategy, execution, and measurable business outcomes.
  • Transformation design: Conduct maturity assessments, gap analyses, and future-state design; define operating models, governance structures, and roadmaps for PMOs, EPMOs, or Transformation Offices.
  • Program & portfolio delivery: Drive portfolio intake, prioritization, planning, execution, and benefits realization. Manage scope, risks, dependencies, resources, and financials; track milestones and provide transparent progress reporting.
  • Technology enablement: Support the design and deployment of PPM and delivery tools, integrating them into broader transformation programs.
  • Cross-border teaming: Collaborate daily with US teams, maintaining agreed time-zone coverage and ensuring seamless handoffs across geographies.
  • Client growth & business development: Build trusted client relationships, identify opportunities where EY can add value, and support pursuit efforts (RFPs, proposals, client presentations).

To qualify for this role

Must have

  • Education: A bachelor's degree in business, Computer Systems, Engineering, Economics, Social/Organizational Science, or a related field. A Master’s degree in a relevant field is preferred.
  • Experience: 4-7 years of relevant experience in delivering large-scale, complex programs, with expertise in consulting or industry. Experience in one or more of the following areas is required:
    • PMO/EPMO design, setup, and delivery
    • Program road-mapping, resource/capacity management, and program execution
    • PMO maturity assessment, setup, and operations
    • Transformation Office design/setup and value/benefits realization
    • End-to-end portfolio management (intake, demand management, prioritization, financial management)
  • Consulting Experience: At least 2+ year of external client-facing consulting experience.
  • Time Flexibility: Ability to flex working hours to support US-based collaboration.

Good to Have

  • Advanced Education: A Master’s degree in Business, Engineering, Technology, or a related field.

Certifications: PMP, CSM, SAFe, or other industry-recognized certifications related to PMO or program managemen

  • Cross-border Teaming: Experience in working in cross-border teams with a focus on multi-time zone operations.
  • Additional Tools Knowledge: Familiarity with PPM tools such as Planview, Clarity, or Jira.
