Associate Gameplay Engineer

They are seeking an Associate Gameplay Engineer to join their Western Dev team, where the role involves designing, developing, and implementing game features for MapleStory while collaborating with designers and artists.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain game features for MapleStory
- Collaborate with designers and artists to bring creative visions to life
- Optimize game performance and resolve bugs to ensure a seamless player experience
- Other duties as assigned
Skills
- 1+ years of experience as a software engineer in the online game development, or a related field
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Engineering, or equivalent experience
- Proficient in C++ language
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under tight deadlines
- Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
- Passionate about MapleStory, with deep familiarity with its gameplay, history, and community
- Proficient in Korean
- Award-winning history in public programming competitions (huge plus)
