Burson is a global communications leader that helps brands redefine their reputation as a competitive advantage. They are seeking an entry-level Analyst to join their Social Listening & Analytics team, focusing on social media trends and consumer insights for iconic global brands.
Responsibilities
- Assist with data collection, basic research tasks, organizing information
- Support project coordination efforts, meticulously documenting project details, and learning all methodologies
- Participate in internal training sessions on research tools and best practices
- Proofreading and numbers checking client deliverables
- Support social media monitoring and reporting for brands, helping track cultural, competitor, and consumer trends
- Learn to use tools like Brandwatch, Sprinklr, and NewsWhip to uncover insights that influence brand reputation, sustainability, and social impact initiatives
- Monitor online conversations and media trends around multiple brands and corporate presence
- Assist in preparing performance reports for campaigns and brand health tracking across social and digital platforms
- Collaborate in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment, gaining exposure to both agency and client-side work
Skills
- Recent graduates (Bachelor's degree in data analytics, communications, research or related field)
- Internship experience in marketing, analytics, or social media (agency, brand, or nonprofit experience all welcome)
- Curious and detail-oriented individuals who are excited by data and cultural trends
- Strong writing, research, and communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; bonus points if you've dabbled in pivot tables, boolean searches, leveraging LLMs or dashboards
- Comfortable juggling multiple projects and learning new tools in a dynamic environment
