Junior Accountant, Financial Reporting and Insights - Greater Vancouver Offices - September 2026
BDO Canada is a firm dedicated to fostering positive relationships with clients and employees. They are looking for a Junior Accountant to join their Financial Reporting and Insights team, responsible for preparing financial statements and tax returns, while building strong client relationships and communicating effectively with team members.
Responsibilities
- Efficiently prepare financial statements for Compilation engagements
- Prepare working files for income tax and information returns for a variety of client sizes
- Prepare corporate and/or personal tax returns including information returns
- Build positive working relationships with clients and effectively respond to request and suggestions
- Completion of ongoing accounting analysis and assignments following established procedures
- Effectively communicate with team members regarding progress updates and issues on an ongoing basis
Skills
- You have completed or are working toward your undergraduate degree
- You have a desire to provide outstanding client service and a commitment to teamwork
- You are pursuing or intend to pursue a CPA designation – this role supports the ACT pathway
- You have proven leadership skill and can take initiative to seek understanding
- You display strong problem solving, analytical, and communication skills
