Job Summary

We're seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Remote LTC Pharmacy Data Entry Technician to join our team. As a key member of our pharmacy operations team, you'll play a vital role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our prescription data entry processes. Responsibilities

As a Remote LTC Pharmacy Data Entry Technician, your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Contacting physician's offices as needed for refill authorization and verifying client orders
  • Processing new and refill prescriptions, including opening orders, verifying eligibility, and inputting prescriptions while maintaining productivity and quality standards
  • Documenting correspondence and follow-up in our system
  • Preparing audit sheets and providing feedback to your manager
  • Forwarding incomplete or rejected scripts to the appropriate department for resolution and tracking status in the system
  • Initiating and documenting correspondence and follow-up in the system
  • Assisting with research of lost or missing orders as requested by internal departments
  • Providing backup support to other pharmacy groups based on business needs or production levels
  • Answering incoming calls promptly and providing high standards of customer service to our clients

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • A High School diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • A Pharmacy Technician license and Certification (CPhT) as per state requirements
  • Long-term care pharmacy experience preferred
  • Frameworks and Docutrack experience preferred
  • Ability to work in a flexible schedule as operational needs dictate, including nights, weekends, and holidays

Preferred Qualifications

* Pharmacy data entry experience, minimum one year

  • Strong knowledge of Brand/Generic drugs and medical terminology

Compensation and Benefits

Skillnex offers a competitive compensation package, including a salary range of $45,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, short/long term disability insurance, flexible spending accounts, employee assistance programs, and paid time off (PTO) and tuition/CEU reimbursement.
