Assistant General Counsel, Treasury - Global Trade Transactions

Description The Assistant General Counsel, Treasury plays a crucial role in the legal landscape of our organization. This position involves reviewing, drafting, and negotiating standard and transaction-specific English law documentation for a variety of global trade-related transactions. These include bilateral and syndicated trade loan facilities, accounts receivable financing, import/export financing, draft discounting, and letter of credit transactions. In addition to documentation work, the responsibilities extend to providing legal advice on English law documentation to internal counsel and business units, negotiating with external legal counsel and clients, and acting as a liaison between external advisers and the business. This role also involves advising on legal and regulatory developments relevant to trade, bank policy matters, and coordinating multi-jurisdictional transactions with Asia and US Legal.
