Summary of Job Duties: Under limited supervision, uses intermediate skills obtained through experience and training to teach Mathematics to students requiring in person private instruction, small group instruction, and online instruction as needed. Meets with students regularly to help improve understanding and grades. Instill confidence in students regarding their mathematical ability, develop study habits, techniques and plans for students. This position is governed by state and federal laws, and agency/institution policy.
Qualifications:
Required Education and/or Experience:
Grade of B or better in at least one of the following courses: Calculus 3 ,Discrete Mathematics, Introduction to Proof, Linear Algebra, and Differential Equations.
Working knowledge of Excel, Cengage and or Pearson platforms.
Preferred Education:
- Completed Calculus 3 with a grade of B or better;
