Job description: Currently seeking tutors for Pre-K, K and Elementary grades- For In-home tutoring in Friendswood and League City areas
We are currently seeking part-time instructors, teachers and tutors who can teach ELA and Math for pre-K to 4th grade levels, including STAAR prep.
The ideal candidate for this job is knowledgeable about the TEKS and skilled in teaching local curriculum, study skills, and other content relevant to these grade levels.
Our tutors are:
- Full-time or part-time Teachers who are actively teaching currently
- preferably certified teachers, substitute teachers or paraprofessionals
- Teacher aides and/or paraprofessionals with classroom experience
- Special Education teachers
- Retired teachers
- Substitute Teachers with teaching experience
- Professionals who are subject matter experts with teaching experience
- Bachelor's degree/diploma preferred
- Teacher's certification preferred
- Understanding local curriculum
- Willingness to travel up to 30 minutes to student location
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in teaching and/or tutoring
- Be able to create personalized tutoring session plans
- Strong typing, PC, and recording skills
- Having reliable transportation is a must
