Product Operations Manager, Trust & Safety

Remote, USA Full-time Posted 2026-06-17

About the role Chime is seeking a Product Operations Manager to support our Trust & Safety organization. This role is critical to powering risk mitigation and decision-making across Chime’s products and services by managing complex technical implementations, data flows, and external partnerships. You will work closely with Product Managers as a 1:1 counterpart while partnering deeply with Risk, Data Science, Analytics, and Engineering. This role is not embedded within a single squad and will operate across multiple Trust & Safety teams, requiring strong context switching, operational rigor, and comfort navigating ambiguity. The base salary offered for this role and level of experience will begin at $153,000 and up to $215,000. Full-time employees are also eligible for a bonus, competitive equity package, and benefits. The actual base salary offered may be higher, depending on your location, skills, qualifications, and experience. Chime is in-office in San Francisco Monday through Thursday every week. In this role, you can expect to:

  • Own and manage Product Operations for Trust & Safety initiatives that support risk mitigation and decision-making across Chime
  • Lead technical implementations that power products and services, including integrations with third-party risk, fraud, and identity partners
  • Evaluate industry-leading risk, fraud, and data solution providers, and design vendor strategies (e.g., bake-offs, champion/challenger) to improve product quality, operational efficiency, and system resilience
  • Own and manage external partnerships end to end, while evangelizing Chime’s business and member needs and influencing partner roadmaps
  • Partner 1:1 with Product Managers as a close counterpart, supporting roadmap execution, launch readiness, and ongoing optimization
  • Collaborate closely with Risk, Data Science, Analytics, and Engineering to ensure data quality, system reliability, and measurable outcomes
  • Support multiple Trust & Safety squads simultaneously, balancing priorities, managing dependencies, and driving operational improvements as Chime scales To thrive in this role, you have:
  • Experience in Product Operations, Product Management, Program Management, or a closely related role supporting technical products
  • Direct experience working in the Risk, Trust & Safety, Fraud, or Identity domain
  • Hands-on experience owning and managing external partners in the risk, fraud, or identity ecosystem
  • Strong data fluency, with experience working alongside Data Science or Analytics teams to inform decision-making
  • Background in analytics, data science, or quantitative problem-solving is a strong plus
  • Experience managing complex technical implementations, system integrations, or data pipelines
  • Comfort operating across multiple teams and initiatives, with frequent context switching
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, particularly in close partnership with Product Managers and Risk teams
  • Ability to operate effectively in ambiguous environments and bring structure to complex problems A little about us At Chime, we believe that everyone can achieve financial progress.
