Visit us at Position Overview We're seeking an experienced Intellectual Property Attorney to join our team on a contract basis. The role focuses on trademark prosecution, copyright protection, and IP portfolio management for innovative technology companies and digital-first businesses. Our clients range from emerging startups to established technology companies seeking sophisticated IP protection strategies.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage trademark clearance, filing, and prosecution process
- Handle USPTO office actions and TTAB proceedings
- Develop comprehensive brand protection strategies
- Manage copyright registrations for software and digital content
- Implement trade secret protection protocols
- Monitor and enforce IP rights across digital platforms
- Direct international trademark strategy
- Oversee domain name and social media protection
- Develop IP portfolio management strategies Requirements
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
- Active attorney license in good standing
- 5+ years of intellectual property law experience
- USPTO registration preferred
- Big Law training/experience strongly preferred
- Experience with trademark prosecution and portfolio management
- Demonstrated experience in technology sector IP protection
- Background in digital brand protection and enforcement
