ESG Data and Reporting Manager

We are seeking a data-driven, collaborative, and passionate “go-getter” to join our global responsibility team. This individual will be responsible for advancing Corporate Responsibility data collection, management and regulatory compliance across our global organization. This role will work cross-functionally to help establish ESG data governance and controls frameworks, support compliance with ESG disclosure requirements, and advance corporate responsibility performance management. This role is based at our Sleepy Hollow, NY location with a minimum of 4 days onsite required - this is not open to fully remote or hybrid work.

Key Responsibilities

ESG Data Collection, Management & Integrity Establish and enhance ESG data collection frameworks and validation procedures Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure accurate, timely and high-quality data collection Develop and document data management procedures Manage Workiva ESG data solution and enhance data governance structures Regulatory Compliance Collaborate with internal stakeholders from Legal, Finance, Internal Audit and Corporate Affairs to track and prepare for ESG disclosure requirements (e.g. EU’s Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD) and California Climate Rules) Develop and help execute compliance readiness work plans, with emphasis on data requirements Serve as primary contact for assurance of ESG regulatory disclosures Stay current on developments in global responsibility disclosure landscape Performance Analytics Analyze ESG data to identify trends and provide actionable insights Work with Responsibility leadership to prepare and verify data for executive-level responsibility dashboards Support strategic decision-making through data visualization and reporting Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in environmental sustainability, accounting, business, economics, or other relevant quantitative fields; master's degree and/or advanced certifications in relevant areas (e.g. CPA) is a plus 8+ years of experience in data reporting and assurance services Passion for corporate responsibility Knowledge of corporate responsibility regulations (e.g. EU CSRD, EU Taxonomy, California SB261/SB253) Understanding of carbon accounting and GHG Protocol Excellent analytical, project management, and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and proactively, balance multiple tasks and projects, and operate in rapidly evolving responsibility landscape High level of professionalism and confidence to collaborate effectively with colleagues from all levels of the organization, including senior leaders, functional managers and subject matter experts Strong verbal and written communications and presentation skills Preferred Qualifications Environmental sustainability data management experience Familiarity with responsibility reporting frameworks (GRI, SASB, TCFD) Experience with Workiva and/or UL360 data management systems Biotechnology or pharmaceutical industry background Does this sound like you?
