Our team is dedicated to leveraging technology and innovation to manage the complex labor needs of Walt Disney World, Disneyland Resort, Aulani, and associated businesses, ensuring that every guest interaction is nothing short of magical.Job Overview: Senior Manager - Labor SystemsWe are seeking an exceptional Senior Manager - Labor Systems to lead our team in testing, business integration, and advancement of systems and processes used to manage labor needs across our domestic sites. As a Senior Manager, you will report to the Director - Labor Systems and will be responsible for leading teams, developing and prioritizing ongoing work, and driving cross-functional efforts to further technical innovation and segment-specific priorities. Your expertise in labor systems, data analysis, and project management will be instrumental in driving the success of our Labor Systems team and contributing to the overall magic of Disney Experiences.Key Responsibilities:• Lead teams responsible for product roadmap planning, change management, testing, and delivery of system changes and new functionality, ensuring seamless integration and minimal disruption to operations.• Develop and prioritize ongoing work, including project delivery, sustainment, and administration of current production systems, to ensure alignment with business objectives and optimal system performance.• Lead integration efforts with key business and technology partners, including Technology, Operations Training, Workforce Management, Operations, LOB partners, HRIS, Labor Relations, Employee Relations, Human Resources, and others, to drive strategic integration opportunities and technical innovation.• Identify and influence strategic integration opportunities across DX organizations to further technical innovation and segment-specific priorities, ensuring that labor systems are optimized to support business growth and excellence.• Consult and partner with international DX sites on labor and data strategic planning and system integration, sharing best practices and expertise to drive global consistency and excellence.• Champion development of relationship skills, technical skills, and product & project management skill sets across teams and partner areas, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.• Translate technical language into business value-driven stories and promote Labor Systems and related work and innovation through networking opportunities across the enterprise and among external partners and vendors, showcasing the impact and value of labor systems on business outcomes.• Drive cross-functional work efforts by effectively partnering with peer teams within and outside of Labor Systems, leveraging collaboration and communication to achieve shared goals and objectives.Essential Qualifications and Skills:To be successful in this role, you will need:• 5-7+ years of experience developing or leading system and/or data solutions in a high-volume environment, with a proven track record of delivering complex projects and driving business outcomes.• Experience leading or closely supporting operational teams, with a strong understanding of labor systems, workforce management concepts, and data analysis.• Experience leading leaders of teams, with a proven ability to motivate, inspire, and develop high-performing teams.• Demonstrated experience working with complex data sets, with a strong understanding of data analysis, reporting, and visualization.• Extensive experience collaborating both virtually and in-person, along with strong storytelling skills and a strength in relaying technical content in a simple and engaging way.• Experience delivering technology projects using Agile methodology, with a strong understanding of project management principles and practices.• Knowledge of workforce management concepts, including labor forecasting, scheduling, and optimization.• Ability to manage and support multiple internal and external stakeholders, with a strong understanding of stakeholder management and communication.• Experience with upstream/downstream data integration and reporting, with a strong understanding of data architecture and governance.• Ability to manage and prioritize multiple initiatives and tasks in a fast-paced environment, with a strong understanding of project prioritization and resource allocation.• Familiarity with SQL, SAS, and/or Python languages, with a strong understanding of Apply tot his job Apply To this Job
