Experienced Procurement Clerk (Data Entry) – Plano, TX

We're now seeking an experienced Procurement Clerk (Data Entry) to join our team in Plano, TX. As a key member of our procurement team, you'll play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our internal systems, managing high volumes of purchase orders, and collaborating with suppliers and internal stakeholders to drive business success.

About the Role

As an experienced Procurement Clerk (Data Entry), you'll be responsible for:

• Accurately creating and entering purchase orders based on data from multiple formats/sources
• Monitoring and tracking inbound materials, coordinating with suppliers and internal stakeholders
• Working closely with the Receiving Team to validate and process incoming materials
• Resolving PO discrepancies or issues related to tracking, receipt, or vendor communication
• Maintaining up-to-date records of order statuses and inventory data in Excel and internal systems
• Managing high-volume email communication with vendors and internal departments
• Supporting logistics coordination efforts to ensure timely and accurate delivery
• Assisting in process improvements related to data entry and PO tracking

What We're Looking For

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

• At least 1 year of experience in high-volume data entry or purchasing support role (procurement, material handling, and/or logistics)
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy under time-sensitive conditions
• Knowledge of procurement processes, logistics, and MRP systems (SAP, Oracle, Acumatica, etc.)
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, with heavy use of Excel
• Sharp analytical mindset with effective problem-solving capabilities
• Ability to work in a collaborative environment that values precision, initiative, and follow-through

Location and Schedule

This role is based in Plano, TX, and requires daily attendance on-site. Applicants must reside within a 35-mile radius of the Plano, TX facility. The schedule is Monday to Friday, with a day shift.
