Job Summary

We're seeking an experienced Full Stack Data Entry Specialist to join our Safety team. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for processing reviews, collecting data, creating reports, and investigating activities to ensure compliance with regulatory and internal requirements. You'll also be involved in the development and implementation of Safety Management System (SMS) data collection systems and other initiatives to optimize our safety strategies.

Key Responsibilities

* Process reviews, collect data, and create reports to support the Safety team

  • Investigate activities and collaborate with the Safety Department Managers on safety initiatives
  • Review, analyze, and interpret data from the safety reporting system (Operational/Irregularity, ASAP, Fatigue)
  • Identify and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets
  • Act as a safety auditor for the Internal Evaluation Program, Safety Investigations, and accelerated hazard areas of operations
  • Track, analyze, and interpret data outputs from the Company's safety programs
  • Assist with the management of the company databases for the purpose of advanced airline safety
  • Assist the Safety Team in any critical investigations
  • Provide technical knowledge to Management on data models, database design, and data mining
  • Prepare relevant reports and communicate safety-related data to managers and line employees in support of the Safety Management System (SMS)
  • Assist with the development, implementation, and control of the Company's Safety Management System (SMS)
  • Act as a member of the Flight Operations Quality Assurance (FOQA) Monitoring Team, oversee aircraft data collection (including Technical Operations), conduct FOQA data evaluation, and fashion identity
  • Maintain FOQA Database and ensure organization compliance with FOQA guidelines
  • Assist with the continuous development of the risk identification and safety hazard evaluation schemes of the Company
  • Prepare research studies on aviation safety trends

Essential Qualifications

* Knowledge of Aviation Safety programs (ASAP, FOQA, LOSA, FRMP, IEP, VDRP)

  • Operational familiarity with Flight Operations, Dispatch, Inflight, and Maintenance
  • Knowledge of aircraft systems, minimum system lists, aircraft dispatch procedures, and Federal Aviation Regulations
  • Knowledge of Safety Management System requirements, hazard control, safety assurance, safety reporting, and safety promotion
  • Basic knowledge of Crew Resource Management principles and aviation human factors
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite of products
  • Excellent writing skills, including report writing, document writing, and correspondence with regulatory agencies
  • Excellent verbal, presentation, and educational skills
  • Strong technical and data analysis skills; Ability to perform statistical analysis and audits

Preferred Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree in an associated field

  • Previous experience in airline operations
  • FAA aircraft dispatcher, pilot, and/or A&P certificate
