Job Summary

We're seeking an experienced Mandarin-speaking Customer Service Representative to join our team on a remote basis. As a key member of our customer service team, you'll be responsible for providing caring and knowledgeable assistance to our members and providers, responding to customer inquiries, and educating customers and dental professionals on eligibility, benefits, claims payment, and authorizations.

Responsibilities

As a Mandarin-speaking Customer Service Representative, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Responding to customer inquiries in a courteous and professional manner regarding benefits and eligibility
  • Providing accurate information to resolve internal and external member and provider inquiries
  • Thoroughly and completely documenting all customer interactions
  • Educating customers and dental professionals on eligibility, benefits, claims payment, and authorizations
  • Collaborating with internal stakeholders to resolve complex customer issues
  • Maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction and loyalty

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • 2+ years of experience in a customer service or call center environment
  • Proficiency in Mandarin (2+ years of experience required)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • High school diploma or equivalent required

Preferred Qualifications

* 1+ year of experience in a customer service or call center environment

  • Experience working with dental insurance and benefits
  • Knowledge of dental terminology and concepts
  • Certification in customer service or a related field
