As a Retail Customer Service Specialist at arenaflex, you will play a critical role in creating an exceptional shopping experience for our customers. You will be the face of our brand, providing top-notch customer service, and ensuring that every customer leaves our store feeling confident, excited, and equipped to achieve their goals. Key Responsibilities
As a Retail Customer Service Specialist, your key responsibilities will include:
- Greeting every customer and teammate with a smile, and proactively approaching customers to understand their needs and support their shopping experience.
- Serving as the primary customer service provider at the front end and liaison between customers and management.
- Providing register coverage as needed and ensuring strong customer service standards are met by supporting cashiers through complex transactions.
- Assisting the manager with department scheduling, directing workflow, daily associate assignments, and monitoring department presentation standards; monitoring Front End associates to ensure they are meeting performance expectations.
- Upholding company merchandising and presentation standards by following established floor sets, signage requirements, price changes, inventory presentation and replenishment standards, etc.
- Promoting and providing training to new and current teammates on company programs (i.e., customer loyalty program participation, warranty sales, private label credit card enrollment, etc.).
- Adhering to established policies and procedures related to safety, loss prevention, and standard operating procedures. Maintaining confidentiality of all Company information.
- Creating an inclusive store environment where everyone (teammates and customers) feels welcome, safe, and is treated with respect.
- Taking an all-hands-on-deck approach to support the team across the store.
- Performing other tasks as assigned by management.

Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Prior retail sales, cashier, or customer-focused experience preferred.
- Ability to stand, bend, stoop, reach, push, pull, and lift 15 to 35 lbs. items occasionally (up to 5 times per hour).
- Ability to work extended periods of time (up to 4 hours) standing or walking.
- Ability to perform repetitive motions for short periods of time (up to 2 hours continuously).
Compensation and Benefits
arenaflex offers a competitive compensation package, including a targeted pay range of $13.50 - $20.50 per hour. Starting rate of pay may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, location, experience, and position offered. The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location.
