Experienced Customer Service Representative – Banking Center Sales and Support

Responsibilities

As an Experienced Customer Service Representative, you'll be responsible for:

• Providing Exceptional Customer Service: Assist customers with various banking transactions and inquiries, ensuring a positive experience and promoting arenaflex's products and services.
• Leading Sales Efforts: Function as a sales leader, promoting bank services and referring customers to appropriate departments to achieve sales goals.
• Account Management: Open and close personal and non-personal accounts, ensuring accurate documentation and establishing strong relationships with customers.
• Communication and Record-Keeping: Answer incoming calls, greet customers, and maintain records and reports to ensure seamless customer interactions.
• Auditing and Compliance: Conduct quarterly audits on tellers and maintain internal controls to ensure compliance with arenaflex's policies and procedures.
• Consumer Lending: Assist in consumer lending by processing loan applications and payments, providing expert guidance to customers.
• Account Maintenance: Generate account maintenance requests as needed by customers, ensuring their banking needs are met.
• Safe Deposit Box Management: Manage safe deposit box rentals and maintain related records, providing a secure and convenient service to customers.
• Banking Center Operations: Open and close the banking center securely, prepare courier bags for daily runs, and perform other duties as assigned.
• Training and Development: Train and mentor new Tellers/CSRs, ensuring a smooth transition and continued growth within the team.
• ATM Balancing and Support: Assist with ATM balancing and other duties as assigned, providing support to the banking center team.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent: A high school diploma or equivalent is required, with a minimum of one year of previous customer service experience in a retail environment or equivalent sales experience preferred.
• Excellent Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential for providing exceptional customer service and promoting arenaflex's products and services.
• Organizational and Time Management Skills: Strong organizational and time management skills are necessary for managing multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced banking environment.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel is required, with the ability to learn and adapt to new systems and technologies.
• Leadership and Sales Skills: The ability to lead others in sales and service is essential for achieving sales goals and promoting arenaflex's products and services.
• Knowledge of Banking Products and Services: Knowledge of banking products and services is preferred, but not required.

Nice-to-Haves

While not required, the following qualifications are highly desirable:

• Teller Experience: Previous teller experience is preferred, providing a strong foundation for success in this role.
• Professional Educator License: A professional educator license is also a nice-to-have, demonstrating a commitment to education and development.
