Key Responsibilities

As an Experienced Customer Care Representative, you'll be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our customers through various channels, including phone, email, and chat. Your primary focus will be on resolving customer inquiries and concerns in a timely and accurate manner, ensuring that our customers receive the highest level of satisfaction and retention. Some of your key responsibilities will include:

  • Providing direct assistance to customers through various communication methods, including phone, email, and chat
  • Answering incoming phone and electronic inquiries regarding arenaflex products and services in a professional and enthusiastic manner
  • Logging incoming calls in our Call Manager and Cisco Finesse systems
  • Researching customer inquiries using all available resources
  • Resolving customer concerns regarding account issues, such as balance inquiries, check orders, deposit status, stop payments, transfers, errors, statement questions, rate information, and more
  • Quoting CD rates and loan payoffs
  • Providing payment service information for Pay my Loan
  • Researching transactions on debit cards and credit cards
  • Providing service and maintenance for debit card and credit card requests
  • Encouraging and assisting customers with the enrollment of Mobile and Internet Banking services
  • Assisting with Internet Banking and Mobile resets and issues for personal and business customers
  • Assisting with all digital channel access
  • Keeping Contact Center management informed of customer trends and concerns
  • Displaying a genuine concern for resolving customer concerns and handling customer requests with tact and skill

What You'll Need to Succeed

To be successful in this role, you'll need to possess the following qualifications and skills:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Minimum two years of previous experience in Contact Center or Customer Service
  • Previous work experience in a financial institution preferred
  • Knowledge of telecommunications systems
  • Exceptional verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to diagnose, resolve, or escalate critical situations
  • Excellent reading and comprehension skills, including policies, procedures, regulations, instructions, correspondences, and memos
  • Ability to quickly assess customer needs and make recommendations or provide information to customers
  • The ability to speak, listen, and understand information and ideas presented through spoken words and sentences
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Flexibility to work a variety of schedules, including evenings, weekends, and rotating shifts
