Paralegal Health Benefit Plan Technician - Cigna Healthcare - Remote

Responsibilities:

  • Draft and update welfare benefit plan documents (e.g., medical benefits), including summary plan descriptions and summaries of benefits and coverage, in accordance with internal and client guidelines.
  • Participate in new group meetings for assigned accounts.
  • Understand and apply applicable laws and regulations in the preparation of welfare benefit plan documents.
  • Review client benefit materials to ensure alignment with organizational standards in order to create welfare benefit plan documents.
  • Provide operational support to team members and contribute to daily workflow activities.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of five years of relevant experience.
  • Daily involvement with drafting and updating welfare benefit plan documents.
  • Working knowledge of laws and regulations related to welfare benefit plan documents, including COBRA and ERISA.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and communicate effectively.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

For this position, we anticipate offering an hourly rate of 32 - 53 USD / hourly, depending on relevant factors, including experience and geographic location.
