Job Summary

We're seeking a highly skilled and empathetic Remote Customer Service Representative to join our team. As a Customer Service Representative, you'll be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our members over the phone and through various digital channels. You'll assist members with inquiries about their benefits, claims, and other related issues, and you'll play a critical role in helping us deliver on our mission to improve the health and well-being of our members.

Responsibilities

As a Remote Customer Service Representative, you'll be responsible for:

  • Responding to member inquiries in a timely and professional manner
  • Providing accurate and up-to-date information about benefits and claims
  • Assisting members with resolving issues and concerns in a fair and compassionate manner
  • Documenting all interactions in our customer service database
  • Adhering to all compliance and quality standards
  • Collaborating with internal teams to resolve complex issues and improve customer experiences
  • Staying up-to-date with industry developments and regulatory changes to ensure compliance and quality

Key Responsibilities

* Respond to member inquiries via phone, email, and chat

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • Previous customer service experience, preferably in the health insurance industry
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with members and internal teams
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on collaboration and teamwork
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and resolve complex issues
  • High school diploma or equivalent, with a focus on customer service, communications, or a related field
