Job Summary
As an Experienced Full Stack Data Entry Specialist, you'll play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our data entry processes. You'll be responsible for entering patient and drug information, processing prescriptions, and maintaining our pharmacy systems. Your exceptional customer service skills will enable you to provide a unique and delightful experience for our patients and customers.
Key Responsibilities
* Enter patient and drug information into our pharmacy systems with high accuracy and efficiency
* Process prescriptions, including retrieving, counting, and pouring pharmaceutical tablets
* Verify medication accuracy and check for potential interactions
* Assist pharmacists in scheduling and maintaining work flow
* Register all related sales on assigned cash register, collect and handle coins as required
* Take customers to OTC aisle to assist in finding merchandise
* Handle telephone calls that don't require the personal attention of the pharmacist
* Method (correct and resubmit) claims for third-party prescription services in a timely and efficient manner
* Perform other clerical responsibilities as assigned by the store manager
* Assist and support Pharmacy team on stock management activities, including ordering, unpacking, checking, and storing shipment of prescription drugs
* Maintain knowledge of company asset safety procedures and document claims for warehouse overages, shortages, order mistakes, or broken goods related to Rx capsules
Essential Qualifications
* Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English (except in Puerto Rico)
* Prefer six months of experience in a retail environment
* Prefer previous work experience with arenaflex
* Desire math skills to fill prescriptions accurately, including counting, measuring, and weighing medicines
* Desire computer skills
* Desire knowledge of store inventory management
* Prefer % certification
Preferred Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., healthcare, business, or computer science)
* Experience with pharmacy systems and software
* Knowledge of pharmacy laws and regulations
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
