Full Stack Developer II
OSITION OVERVIEW: Designs, codes, tests and deploys software in all layers of the development life cycle. Provides the necessary documentation. Works with databases, APIs, servers, networks and various programming languages. Works independently on moderately complex projects. Collaborates across teams and may mentor junior developers. Contributes to technical decisions within the team. ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES: 1. Designs software code using multiple programming languages. 2. Tests newly developed software code. 3. Documents code per the Company's processes. 4. Communicates effectively with colleagues, managers, vendors, user focus groups and comments, and other stakeholders. 5. Evaluates code to ensure it meets industry standards and is compatible with all hardware and software. 6. Mentors junior developers and contribute to code reviews. 7. Comply with all applicable laws/regulations, as well as company policies/procedures. 8. Perform other duties as assigned. If this opportunity includes multiple job levels, the range is a reasonable estimate of the current starting salary for the lowest level to the current starting salary of the highest level. Actual starting pay is determined by experience relative to the job, market level, specific location and other job-related factors permitted by law. Regular full & part-time employees (who complete 91 days of employment and work a minimum average of 12 hours per week) are eligible to enroll in medical, dental, and/or vision coverage, tuition reimbursement. Full/part-time employees who are age 21 are eligible for 401(k) after one month of employment. QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's Degree/equivalent in computer science, engineering, or information systems and/or directly related work experience
- Three (3) years’ work experience in information technology or engineering. A related advanced degree may offset some of the related work experience requirements
- Strong programming skills
- Solid debugging and problem-solving skills
- Proven computer/coding skills in multiple languages
- Analytical, problem solving, time management, organizational and interpersonal skills
- Good presentation skills and ability to handle multiple projects
- Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively with professionals from a range of technical and non-technical backgrounds
