Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Customer Service Representative to join our remote team at arenaflex. As a key member of our customer service team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our customers, resolving issues, and promoting our products and services. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

* Assists all internal and external customers in a professional manner, providing timely and effective solutions to their inquiries and concerns.

  • Maintains a positive, empathetic, and professional attitude toward customers at all times, even in challenging situations.
  • Receives requests from multiple sources (phone, fax, e-Commerce, in-person) and completes necessary processes for equipment services, ensuring seamless customer experiences.
  • Coordinates home equipment service requests with Dispatch for prompt delivery, ensuring timely resolution of customer issues.
  • Engages in active listening with customers, confirming or clarifying information and diffusing angry customers, as needed.
  • Provides customers with product and service information, ensuring they have a comprehensive understanding of our offerings.
  • Maintains current knowledge on Medicare, Medicaid, and third-party payor sources for equipment, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information.
  • Verifies medical necessity, insurance coverage, and physician orders for all insurance-assigned services, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Follows policy and work instructions to ensure the Billing Department has the correct paperwork to complete insurance, ensuring efficient and accurate billing processes.
  • Understands and strives to meet or exceed department metrics while providing excellent customer service, driving continuous improvement and growth.
  • Makes sales or recommendations for products or services that may complement client needs, as applicable, promoting cross-selling and upselling opportunities.
  • Performs other duties as assigned by management, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be professional, proactive, and positive with internal and external customers and coworkers. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

  • Education and/or Experience:

+ High school diploma or general education degree (GED). + 6 months of relevant customer service experience preferred.

  • Skills & Abilities:

+ Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills. + Customer service orientation. + Attention to detail. + Good data entry skills. + Proficiency with computers, with strong typing skills. + Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
