Job Title: Environmental Engineer Job Description We are seeking a dedicated Environmental Engineer to manage environmental investigation and remediation projects. The successful candidate will perform complex analyses for specific portions of broader engineering and environmental projects and supervise field activities to ensure the correct interpretations of findings. You will manage and deliver on multiple projects and tasks within specific budgets and schedules while organizing, writing, and editing draft proposals, reports, and other documents. This role also involves participating in the identification and pursuit of new clients, developing additional work within existing projects, and attending business development meetings.

Responsibilities

Manage environmental investigation and remediation projects. Perform complex analyses for specific portions of broader engineering and environmental projects. Supervise field activities and ensure correct interpretations of findings. Manage and deliver on multiple projects and tasks within specific budgets and schedules. Organize, write, and edit draft proposals, reports, and other documents. Participate in the identification and pursuit of new clients and develop additional work within existing projects. Attend business development meetings with new and existing clients. Provide direct oversight and management of junior staff for specific project assignments. Coach, train, and motivate staff assigned to environmental projects. Participate in interviewing and hiring staff. Coordinate work groups across office locations and disciplines as needed. Interface effectively and professionally with clients, contractors, subcontractors, staff, project personnel, and supervisors. Perform other duties as requested. Essential Skills 6+ years of experience within land development projects. Proficiency in land development and environmental engineering. Professional Engineer certification. Experience with NJDEP regulations. Skills in soil sampling, remediation, and report writing. Familiarity with Phase I and Phase II Environmental Assessments. Environmental compliance expertise. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience with PFAS. Client-facing experience. Experience with the doer/seller model.

Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $99000.00 - $130000.00/yr. 401k 6 percent match medical, dental, vision Workplace Type This is a hybrid position in Morristown,NJ.
