Job Details We are seeking a motivated Estimator to join our Elgin, IL office. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, analytical, and eager to learn. You will play a key role in supporting project managers and preconstruction efforts by preparing accurate cost estimates and ensuring proposals are competitive and complete. Responsibilities: Prepare detailed quantity takeoffs, cost estimates, and bid proposals. Analyze project drawings, specifications, and documents to determine scope. Obtain and evaluate pricing from subcontractors and suppliers. Collaborate with project managers and engineers to ensure accurate bids. Track historical cost data and assist in budget development. Participate in pre-bid meetings and handoffs to project teams. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field. 5 years of relevant estimating or construction experience (internships considered). Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills. Proficiency in estimating software and MS Office. A collaborative, detail-driven mindset with a passion for accuracy and efficiency.
