Experienced Commercial Chat Service Trainee – Member Benefits Administration

At arenaflex, we're dedicated to providing exceptional customer service to our members, and we're looking for a talented and enthusiastic individual to join our Member Benefits Administration (MBA) Digital Service Team as a Commercial Chat Service Trainee. As a key member of our team, you'll play a vital role in engaging with our members through our online portal and mobile app, providing timely and accurate resolutions to their inquiries, and becoming an expert in our Commercial group and Individual (ON/OFF Marketplace) Medical policies.

Job Responsibilities

As a Commercial Chat Service Trainee, you'll be responsible for:

  • Receiving, investigating, and resolving all customer inquiries in a timely and accurate manner
  • Handling customer inquiries and problems via multiple channels, including chat, telephone calls, emails, and written correspondence
  • Ensuring all customer communication is professional, grammatically correct, and clearly documented
  • Educating customers to ensure resolution is achieved on first contact
  • Passing required testing to demonstrate your knowledge and skills

Key Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • A High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 1 year of experience in a customer service support role
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
  • Proficient oral and written communication skills
  • Proficient interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Accuracy and attention to detail
  • Exceptional time management skills
  • Ability to talk and type simultaneously in a clear and concise manner while interacting with customers
  • Ability to write simple and complex correspondence

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications are highly desirable:

  • Experience working in a fast-paced customer service environment
  • Knowledge of health insurance and benefits
  • Certification in customer service or a related field
  • Bilingual or multilingual skills
