Analytics Senior Manager -- Auto Data and Insights

About the position About this role: Wells Fargo is seeking an Analytics Senior Manager for the Data and Insights change delivery group in Auto. This individual will lead a team responsible for managing Data Warehouse, ensuring optimization, ensuring data integrity, governance and aligned with the enterprise data strategy. The role is focused on supporting key line of business strategic initiatives associated with managing data risk, servicing, and originations systems modernization. In this role, you will: Manage and develop teams of individual contributors and/or managers to enhance business management and execute on key initiatives and processes that provide independent validation and data quality support for both operational and regulatory reporting Determine appropriate strategy to plan, coordinate, and execute technical data projects, testing methodologies, and support of complex reporting managed outside of the technology team. Solve problems using technical, data and business knowledge Lead data strategy and governance initiatives to ensure accuracy, integrity, and compliance across enterprise. Collaborate and influence all levels of professionals including senior managers to provide strategic consultation Ensure adherence to data management and data governance regulations, and policies and compliance requirements Interpret and develop compliance and risk management requirements for supported area and work with other stakeholders to implement key risk initiatives for external agencies, regulatory bodies, and industry forums Manage allocation of people and financial resources to ensure commitments are met and align with strategic objectives Develop and guide a culture of talent development to meet business objectives and strategy Manage the domestic components, process, and integration activities in conjunction with the offshore team in India; define and maintain the domestic/offshore engagement model Lead effectively across multiple domestic time zones, with scheduling flexibility to productively engage with India based support resources

Responsibilities

  • Determine appropriate strategy to plan, coordinate, and execute technical data projects, testing methodologies, and support of complex reporting managed outside of the technology team.

  • Ensure adherence to data management and data governance regulations, and policies and compliance requirements

Requirements

  • 6+ years of Analytics experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
  • 3+ years of management or leadership experience

Nice-to-haves

  • 5+ years of financial services industry, preferably within the Auto industry
  • 5+ years of Data Analytics experience, preferably within the financial services industry
  • Demonstrated critical thinking skills with the ability to quickly recognize and resolve problems and get to the root cause with the ability to create immediate tactical and strategic solutions
  • Advanced software engineering/programming skills to directly interrogate data in support of requirement definitions, conceptual designs, and data quality assurance
  • Experience in general-purpose programming languages like Java
  • Experience with data validation and quality monitoring pre/post data processing standards
  • Strategic leadership experience creating and achieving a desired future state vision through influence on individual and group goals, reinforcements and technologies
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, including strong ability to effectively evaluate and prioritize work
  • Experience designing and executing technical data quality assurance controls
  • Experience performing complex data analysis and developing operational reporting, including those in response to management, audit, or regulatory requirements
  • Experience translating and summarizing complex data and technical concepts into understandable, actionable information and recommendations to executive level audiences
  • Advanced MS Excel and PowerPoint skills
  • Outstanding communication, presentation, partnership and influencing skills
  • Ability to travel up to 15% of the time
  • Willingness to work on-site at one of the stated locations on the job opening
