The Customer Service Representative is the welcoming face of arenaflex. You will be the trusted guide who helps members navigate their health plans, resolve inquiries, and feel genuinely cared for. Key Responsibilities

  • Member Interaction: Respond to inbound calls, emails, and letters from members, providers, and internal partners, delivering clear, courteous, and solution‑focused assistance.
  • Plan Guidance: Explain arenaflex benefit structures, policy guidelines, and member rights. Offer personalized recommendations based on each member’s unique health needs and preferences.
  • Issue Resolution: Diagnose and resolve routine and complex service requests, escalating when necessary and ensuring follow‑through until the member’s issue is fully closed.
  • Documentation & Tracking: Accurately record all member interactions in the CRM system, maintaining a detailed audit trail for compliance and quality‑control purposes.
  • Triaging & Referral: Identify cases that require specialized attention and route them to the appropriate department, ensuring seamless handoffs and minimal rework.
  • Education & Advocacy: Proactively educate members about self‑service tools, wellness resources, and preventative care options, empowering them to make informed choices.
  • Quality Assurance: Meet or exceed established productivity, accuracy, and customer‑satisfaction metrics while adhering to regulatory and privacy standards.
  • Team Collaboration: Share insights and best practices with peers, contribute to continuous‑improvement initiatives, and support a culture of mutual respect and shared success.

Essential Qualifications

  • Geographic Requirement: Must reside within a 50‑mile radius of New Albany, OH, to ensure on‑site availability during system outages or critical events.
  • Customer Service Experience: Minimum of 1‑2 years in a transaction‑focused environment such as a call center, retail service desk, or similar setting, demonstrating a track record of empathy and reliability.
  • Education: High school diploma, GED, or equivalent; additional coursework in health‑care administration or related fields is a plus.
  • Communication Skills: Strong oral and written abilities, with a clear, patient, and professional tone.
  • Technical Proficiency: Comfortable navigating multiple software platforms, CRM tools, and digital self‑service portals.
  • Detail Orientation: Ability to maintain high accuracy while handling a high volume of inquiries.
