General Description of the Role

The Sr. Specialist, Price & Revenue Growth is responsible for gathering, organizing, and analyzing market data, pricing trends, and competitive landscapes to help develop and implement effective pricing strategies and execute Revenue Management Initiatives using the four core Revenue Management Principles: Price-Pack Architecture, Promo Optimization, Mix Management, and Trade Terms where available. This role involves utilizing both quantitative and qualitative analysis techniques to optimize pricing decisions and maximize profitability.

Overview of Responsibilities

    Market Analysis: Conduct market research to understand customer needs, preferences, and buying behaviors. And analyze market trends, demand patterns, and competitive pricing strategies.Pricing Strategy Development: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop pricing & promotional strategies that align with business objectives, create an implementation plan, and track/report the resultsValue Chain Optimization: Support the Manager, Commercial FP&A in the creation, maintenance, and analysis of the partnership market and domestic channel value chainsCompetitive Analysis: Monitor competitor pricing strategies and market positioning. Conduct competitive benchmarking to assess pricing gaps and opportunities for differentiation.Price Modeling: Develop and maintain pricing models to simulate different pricing scenarios and evaluate their potential impact on revenue, margin, and market share.Performance Monitoring: Track and analyze pricing performance metrics, such as price elasticity, price sensitivity, and sales volume. Identify trends, patterns, and anomalies to assess the effectiveness of pricing strategies and make data-driven recommendations for optimization.Data Gathering & Maintenance: Support the organization in gathering, maintaining and analyzing external market data as well as owning the data consolidation of our distributor partners in partnership markets. Documentation and Reporting: Maintain documentation of pricing policies, guidelines, and decisions. Prepare regular reports and presentations for management to communicate pricing insights, performance metrics, and recommendations.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in business, finance, economics, mathematics, or a related field.2+ years experience in pricing analysis required; + Cat Dev and/or market research preferred.2+ years with experience in creating models, working with large data sets, and showcasing strong analytical skills with proficiency in quantitative analysis, statistical techniques, and data manipulation; Expertise in Microsoft Office (Excel & Powerpoint), Power Query, and Power BI required + SQL, Python, & SAP preferred.Excellent communication, presentation, and storytelling skills, with the ability to convey complex pricing concepts and insights to diverse audiences.Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and precision in analysis and reporting, with the ability to transition between minute details and high-level analysis.Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with finance, marketing, sales, and CCM in a fast-paced, dynamic environment (cross-functionally).Adaptability and flexibility to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively.Gross Profit Mindset, Commercial P&L, and Breakeven analysis experience required.Not afraid to learn by doing in an independent and team environment.Result oriented, respecting deadlines.Ability to constructively challenge process and requests.

    Work is carried out in modern office facilities.Occasional periods of working extended hoursOccasional travel may be required
