Responsibilities

  • Launch and grow Availity’s clinical data solutions reporting and analytics suite, providing customers with actionable insights that help them manage their business and clearly understand the value and ROI of our products; you must possess the ability to articulate ROI as an internal and external product champion
  • Develop and maintain dashboards and reports that quantify the impact of clinical data solutions, including cost savings, operational efficiencies, quality improvements, and revenue enhancements
  • Partner with stakeholders to identify and prioritize metrics that matter most to customers, ensuring that dashboards and analytics align with their strategic goals
  • Use advanced analytics and data storytelling techniques to translate complex data into clear, compelling narratives that highlight Availity’s value proposition
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, prioritize, and deliver data products that support customer visibility and decision-making
  • Stay current on industry trends and regulatory programs (e.g., HEDIS, Stars, risk adjustment, value-based care) to ensure analytics and reporting meet evolving market needs
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on using data to demonstrate ROI, supporting sales, marketing, and customer success teams with data-driven materials and presentations
  • Partnering with design and technology, you are accountable for product design, feature definition, prioritization, road mapping and planning; your ultimate objective is to positively differentiate your assigned products from the competition and delight customers
  • This position requires an understanding of the Product Management life cycle and the artifacts and ensuring teams are collaborative and documenting for success
  • Enabling the Clinical Data Solutions portfolio strategy by delivering analytic products that clearly demonstrate value and ROI
  • Leading the definition and prioritization of metrics, requirements and features that showcase the impact of our clinical data solutions
  • Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to ensure analytics and dashboards meet market and customer needs
  • Evangelizing the value of Availity’s clinical data solutions through data-driven storytelling and thought leadership
  • Engaging with UX/Design and focus groups (users, prospects, clients) to perform concept testing and solution refinement
  • Defining product vision, roadmaps and supporting business case for new data science driven solutions
  • Directing development of operational and reporting metrics that demonstrate use-case-based clinical data opportunity and value to ensure product success
  • Gathering, analyzing, and responding to user feedback
  • Collaborating with technical teams including Data Engineers, Architects and Developers on solution design and roadmap execution
  • Ensuring products are well documented and conform to specifications, timelines, and quality standards
  • Collaborating with marketing to develop material to convey product capabilities and value
  • Assisting in creation of pricing and packaging
  • Collaborating with Account Management and other stakeholders to plan internal communications, metrics, process design and ensure operational readiness
  • Evangelizing product, company point of view and differentiation to internal and external stakeholders
  • Creating content for increasing thought leadership based on point of view
  • Accountable for the success of the product / solution in the market

Skills

  • Minimum of 7 years' experience in Product Management with analytic/data-driven products within healthcare technology. Healthcare background is required
  • Must have 5+ years of experience working with data, data analytics, business intelligence tooling and data visualization
  • Experience creating and executing product roadmaps and leading cross-functional teams to deliver data products
  • Demonstrated expertise in using data to quantify and communicate ROI, value realization, and business impact
  • Technical skills and experience in data analysis (e.g., SQL, python or statistical languages), familiarity with modern BI tools (eg., Tableau, Power BI, Quicksight) and demonstrated ability to tell stories with data
  • Knowledge of modern technology architectures, database technology, and regulatory requirements (e.g., HIPAA)
  • Experience managing customer expectations and gathering user feedback to inform product enhancements
  • Must have strong written and verbal communication skills with experience presenting data-driven insights to executive and customer audiences
  • Experience working in an Agile environment using tools such as Jira and Confluence
  • Experience with clinical data standards including FHIR, HL7, or other interoperability standards
  • Familiarity with health plan operations and knowledge of regulatory programs (e.g., HEDIS, Stars, ACO, value-based care)
  • Experience with Databricks or similar data platforms
  • Experience with business intelligence tools such as Tableau, PowerBI or Quicksights
  • Background in payer/provider organizations or health tech platforms
  • Pragmatic Marketing experience/certification
