Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Technical Operations Manager to join our IT Services Support team. As a key member of our team, you will manage local and remote resources, define the perfect customer experience, and develop strategies to create that experience. You will leverage your expertise to help the group develop and utilize their knowledge base, expedite the resolution of recurrent issues, and identify ways to proactively reduce requests through automation, documentation, and process improvement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage local and/or remote resources to provide highly-available IT support for arenaflex employees worldwide
  • Assist the global organization in defining the perfect customer experience and own the strategies to create that experience
  • Help the group develop and leverage their knowledge base to expedite the resolution of recurrent issues
  • Identify ways to proactively reduce requests through automation, documentation, and process improvement
  • Set high standards for issue handling, escalation, and problem management across the organization
  • Guide the team with metrics and goals that clearly measure their success

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • 5 years of experience in developing a team of technical professionals across multiple locations
  • 2 years of experience in leading technology teams as an Information Technology Operations Manager
  • Bachelor's degree, or 4 years of professional or military experience
  • Knowledge of Linux or Unix systems administration

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications are preferred:

  • Experience in IT service management, including incident, problem, and change management
  • Knowledge of ITIL frameworks and best practices
  • Experience with automation tools and scripting languages
  • Strong understanding of cloud computing platforms and technologies
