Job Summary

We are seeking an Experienced Full Stack Customer Service Representative to join our team in Pennsylvania and Ohio. As a key member of our customer service team, you will be responsible for handling a high volume of customer inquiries, resolving complex issues, and providing personalized solutions to meet the unique needs of each customer. This is a remote opportunity, and you will be working from the comfort of your own home, with the flexibility to work in a secure, private location.

Key Responsibilities

* Process billing calls, investigating meter read and other requests relating to billing accuracy or payment

  • Handle emergency calls, providing timely and effective solutions to customers in need
  • Process customer move-ins, adds, and transfers, ensuring seamless transitions and minimal disruption to customers
  • Process refunds, compensation requests, and changes to accounts, resolving complex issues and providing personalized solutions
  • Route escalated customer issues for resolution, working closely with internal teams to ensure timely and effective resolution
  • Make referrals and process requests regarding special programs, such as Energy Assistance, CRISIS, Dollar Energy, or other programs, as necessary
  • Process order inquiry calls, initiate service orders, and provide service order status updates, ensuring accurate and timely communication with customers
  • Assist customers with credit/payment arrangements, providing personalized solutions and support
  • Direct customers to the appropriate self-service channels, as necessary, to ensure efficient and effective resolution of issues
  • Meet individual deadlines, metrics, and team goals, working collaboratively with internal teams to achieve common objectives
  • Multi-task while effectively focusing on priority issues, ensuring timely and effective resolution of customer inquiries

Essential Qualifications

* High school diploma or equivalent

  • One (1) year of customer service experience, with a strong focus on problem-solving and conflict resolution
  • Computer skills, including navigating multiple tabs, windows, and systems
  • Ability to type a minimum of 25 WPM (Word Per Minute)
  • Solid written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with customers and internal teams
  • For bilingual candidates, must possess solid written skills in English and Spanish and must speak fluent English and Spanish

Preferred Qualifications

* 2-3 years of call center and/or customer service experience, with a strong focus on problem-solving and conflict resolution

  • 2-5 years of previous customer service work from home experience, with a strong focus on flexibility and adaptability
  • Utility experience, with a strong understanding of energy-related products and services
  • Advanced computer skills, including navigating multiple tabs, windows, and systems
  • Ability to type 60-65 WPM (Words Per Minute)

Living Requirements

* Must reside 80 miles or less from one of the arenaflex facilities located in Pennsylvania and Ohio

  • Must have a reliable means of transportation to travel to the designated arenaflex facility as necessary

Work From Home Office Requirements

* Must maintain high-speed wired internet access (75mbps download and 15mbps upload) that is hardwired, with no Wi-Fi or satellite internet

  • Must have the ability to work in a secure, private location, either a designated room or office in residence, with proper, ergonomic office equipment (computer desk and computer chair) and setup
  • Must have a smartphone to download a VPN app on your personal device
  • Must be available from 7:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m. and able to attend 100% of the 13-week training program, with punctual attendance essential for consistent service delivery and reliability for customers

Compensation and Benefits

* Starting pay: $34,400.00 - $48,200.00 per year, depending on experience and qualifications

  • Additional one-time $500 sign-on bonus for traditional CSR role and $22.20 per hour with an additional one-time $500 sign-on bonus for bilingual CSR role
