The Role

As our Senior Manager of Forecasting, you'll play a critical role in creating and delivering contact forecasts that will help us generate cost-effective and comprehensive global capacity planning solutions for our Customer Service (CS) network. You'll be responsible for managing a team of analysts and managers spread across multiple countries, ensuring that they have the skills and expertise needed to develop short-term and long-term contact forecasts using various forecasting techniques across multiple arenaflex markets.

Key Responsibilities

* Manage a team of analysts and managers to develop short-term and long-term contact forecasts using various forecasting techniques across multiple arenaflex markets

  • Lead a team of analysts and managers to ensure low error contact forecasts to ensure service level delivery
  • Develop and implement forecasting strategies and techniques to improve forecast accuracy and reduce errors
  • Collaborate with senior CS leadership to keep them updated on the drivers for forecast variance and participate in strategic long-term planning initiatives
  • Develop and maintain relationships with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and operations, to ensure alignment and effective communication
  • Analyze and interpret complex data sets to identify trends and patterns, and develop insights to inform business decisions
  • Develop and maintain forecasting models, including statistical models and machine learning algorithms
  • Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to develop and implement data visualization tools and dashboards
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in forecasting and capacity planning

Essential Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree in Business, Mathematics, Operations Research, Engineering, or a related field

  • 10+ years of experience in forecasting and planning, with a strong background in statistical analysis and data visualization
  • Experience managing a team of analysts and managers, including hiring, development, and performance management
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to share findings in an understandable and actionable manner
  • Ability to lead successfully in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, with a strong attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills
  • Experience with SQL, statistical analysis, and data visualization tools, including Tableau, Power BI, or similar tools

Preferred Qualifications

* MBA or Master's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, or other business/analytical disciplines, with 10+ years of related work experience

  • Experience in forecasting, time-series, and multivariate regression, with a strong background in statistical modeling and machine learning
  • Combination of technical skills and business savvy to interface with all levels and disciplines across the organization
  • Proven track record of dealing well with ambiguity, prioritizing needs, and delivering results in a dynamic environment
  • Experience using AWS technologies, such as Redshift, S3, and similar tools
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex ideas in a clear and concise manner
  • Natural curiosity and desire to learn, with a passion for staying up-to-date with industry trends and best practices
