Job Summary

As a Part-time Chat Specialist, you will be responsible for handling a wide variety of customer inquiries via online chat, providing accurate information about products and services, and capturing customer contact information for lead generation and client review. You will also be required to develop and maintain a knowledge base of our ever-evolving products and services, summarize interactions based on customer needs for client review, and work collaboratively with our team to achieve our goals.

Responsibilities

* Handle a wide variety of customer inquiries via online chat, responding to questions and concerns in a timely and professional manner

  • Provide accurate information about products and services via online chat, ensuring that customers have a positive and informative experience
  • Narrow down on appointment information to schedule appointments, ensuring that customers are able to book appointments with our dealer clients
  • Develop and maintain a knowledge base of our ever-evolving products and services, staying up-to-date on the latest developments and innovations
  • Capture customer contact information for lead generation and client review, ensuring that our dealer clients have the information they need to follow up with customers
  • Summarize interactions based on customer needs for client review, providing our dealer clients with valuable insights and feedback
  • Collaborate with our team to achieve our goals, sharing knowledge and best practices to drive results

Qualifications

* Previous experience in retail customer service or the automotive industry is preferred but not necessary

  • Must be able to type at least 35 WPM, 40 and above is preferred
  • Have a handle on basic internet and window-based computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Suite
  • Strong ability to multitask is preferred, with experience in gaming or other fast-paced environments a plus
  • Positive and professional demeanor, with excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to adapt to change and enjoy a quick-paced work environment, with a willingness to learn and grow with our company

Requirements

* Able to attend 4 weeks of training, Tuesday - Saturday between the hours of 10:00am-6:30pm CST

  • Must be able to work 5-hour time blocks daily after completing training
  • Must be able to type at least 35 WPM, 40 and above is preferred
  • Positive and professional demeanor
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to adapt to change and enjoy a quick-paced work environment
  • Gaming experience is preferred
