About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Customer Service Representative to join our team, specializing in small business lending. As a Customer Service Representative, you will become an expert in our two unique small business lending brands, each with its own offerings and customer requirements. After completing our comprehensive 4-week training program, you will be primarily responsible for providing superior customer service and a positive experience to our customers. This is a remote opportunity, allowing you to work from the comfort of your own home and enjoy a better work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Respond to incoming customer calls, addressing their questions and providing exceptional service
  • Manage and respond to all customer inquiries, fulfilling requests, and offering comprehensive education on our products and services
  • Deliver high-quality support by handling tasks related to payment processing, creating payment plans, and addressing other account-related matters to enhance the overall customer experience
  • Uphold exceptional customer service standards through articulate and effective verbal and written communication
  • Keep customer accounts meticulously updated with accurate information

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • Experience in a call center setting is preferred, with a strong background in customer service
  • Proficient in phone communication and verbal skills, with a keen ability to actively listen and empathize with customers
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and their practices, with the ability to learn and adapt to new technologies
  • A customer-centric approach with adaptability to various personality types and situations
  • Strong multitasking abilities, adept at setting priorities and managing time effectively in a fast-paced environment

Essential Qualifications

In addition to the above requirements, you should:

  • Be eligible to work in the United States, as we are not able to sponsor visas or take over sponsorship at this time
  • Have a strong passion for delivering exceptional customer service and making a positive impact on our customers' lives
  • Be able to work in a remote setting, with minimal supervision, and maintain a high level of productivity and motivation

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications are preferred:

  • Previous experience in the financial services industry, with a strong understanding of small business lending and credit products
  • Knowledge of CRM systems, such as Salesforce or similar platforms
  • Experience working in a remote or virtual team environment, with strong communication and collaboration skills
