Data Engineering at arenaflex
Our Data Engineering team is responsible for building the structures that power our analytics and insights. As a Data Engineer at arenaflex, you'll be working on a wide range of projects, from batch data pipelines to real-time processing services that integrate with our core product functions. You'll be working with large-scale datasets, distributed systems, and complex data models to deliver insights that inform our business decisions.
Key Responsibilities
* Design, develop, and deploy scalable data pipelines and architectures to support our analytics and insights
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business, engineering, and data science, to deliver insights and recommendations
- Develop and maintain high-quality, well-documented code that meets arenaflex's standards for data engineering
- Work with large-scale datasets, distributed systems, and complex data models to deliver insights that inform our business decisions
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in data engineering and apply them to our projects
Essential Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- 2+ years of experience in data engineering, software engineering, or a related field
- Strong understanding of data engineering principles, including data modeling, data warehousing, and data governance
- Experience with distributed systems, big data technologies, and cloud computing platforms
- Strong programming skills in languages such as Java, Scala, Python, or C++
- Experience with data visualization tools and technologies, such as Tableau, Power BI, or D3.js
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
Preferred Qualifications
* Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in data engineering, software engineering, or a related field
- Experience with machine learning, artificial intelligence, or natural language processing
- Experience with cloud-based data platforms, such as Amazon Web Services (AWS) or Microsoft Azure
- Experience with containerization and orchestration tools, such as Docker and Kubernetes
- Strong understanding of data security and compliance principles, including GDPR and HIPAA

* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to break down complex problems into manageable components
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
- Strong attention to detail and ability to deliver high-quality work products
