Key Responsibilities:

As a Customer Care Specialist, your primary responsibility will be to provide exceptional service to our customers. Here are some of the key duties and responsibilities you will be expected to perform:

  • Receive in-bound calls: You will receive in-bound calls from customers and provide superior service, listening to their concerns, solving problems, and answering questions.
  • Problem-solving: You will take the initiative to truly understand our customers' current challenges, solve them, and use your expertise to proactively help them avoid future challenges.
  • Empathy and communication: You will show empathy and understanding to our customers, listening to their concerns and responding in a timely and professional manner.
  • Special projects: You may be asked to participate in special projects, assume new responsibilities, and adjust priorities as requested.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following qualifications and skills:

  • Minimum of 1 year experience: You will need to have a minimum of 1 year experience providing customer support.
  • Great communication skills: You will need to have great communication skills, a love for talking to people, and the ability to "wow" customers on every call.
  • Relentless drive: You will need to have a relentless drive to own the customers' problems and the ability to think outside of the box to resolve them.
  • Minimum high school diploma or GED: You will need to have a minimum high school diploma or GED.
  • Home office environment: You will need to commit to having a home office environment that is free of distractions or responsibilities outside of the role during working hours assigned.

Preferred Qualifications:

While the above qualifications are required, we also welcome candidates with the following preferred qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 year's experience: You will need to have a minimum of 2 year's experience providing customer support in a call center, banking, insurance, or sales environment/industry.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and listening skills: You will need to have excellent verbal, written, and listening skills.
  • College degree: A college degree is preferred.
  • Prior experience in a work from home position: Prior experience in a work from home position is preferred.
  • Bilingual in English/Spanish: The ability to speak, read, and write the Spanish language fluently is preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail: You will need to have strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to adapt to change: You will need to be able to adapt to change and work well in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to multi-task: You will need to be able to multi-task using technology.

Working Conditions and Physical Requirements:

As a Customer Care Specialist, you will be working in a remote environment, and you will need to meet the following working conditions and physical requirements:

  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk: You will need to be able to sit for prolonged periods at a desk and work on a computer.
  • Flexible work schedule: You will need to be available to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends.
  • Internet requirements: You will need to have internet services with a minimum internet speed of 15 Mbps on the download side and a minimum of 3 Mbps on the upload side.
  • General office demands: You will need to be able to meet the general office demands of the role.
