Job Summary:
As a Full Stack Software Engineer at arenaflex, you will be responsible for leading a team of engineers while making key decisions that impact a broad range of cross-functional partners. Your role will remain technically hands-on, involving close work with code, technical details, and data. You will contribute to architectural planning, code reviews, and risk assessments, while discussing bugs and technical challenges in-depth and representing your team and technology in cross-functional meetings.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead a team of engineers, making key decisions that impact cross-functional partners
- Remain technically hands-on, working closely with code, technical details, and data
- Contribute to architectural planning, code reviews, and risk assessments
- Discuss bugs and technical challenges in-depth and represent your team and technology in cross-functional meetings
- Collaborate with various teams across software, services, and AI/ML
- Engage with external customers to understand their needs and provide solutions
- Help define requirements and objectives for cross-functional software projects
- Create a multi-year roadmap for software development
- Lead the design and execution phases of software development
- Oversee the work of some of the brightest engineers in the industry
Minimum Qualifications:
* Strong understanding of operating systems fundamentals and mobile device support constraints
- Proven ability to drive complex, cross-functional projects, managing partnerships while staying hands-on technically
- Clear decision-making based on data rather than intuition
- Comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment with frequent interruptions
- Enthusiasm for working in a diverse, global team, fostering collaboration, and supporting your engineers
Preferred Qualifications:
* 2+ years of engineering management experience
- Proven ability to recruit, develop, and retain top engineering talent
- Experience with API development and working with API consumers
