Financial Analyst 2 (Remote)
The ideal Finance Analyst is a highly motivated individual with financial planning and accounting experience. This person will be responsible for supporting the Legal department with financial reporting, journal entries, accounting, bank reconciliation and more. - Accurately prepare financial reporting and perform monthly reconciliations and accruals
- Provide financial planning and analysis for all aspects of Nordstrom’s Legal department, including expense management and budgeting
- Understand the key drivers of Legal financial performance including workers’ compensation, general liability and litigation spend
- Manage actuarial claim projections, liability projections and accruals including self-administered claims, third party administrated claims and insured programs
- Partner with key internal stakeholders including Financial Planning and Analysis and Corporate Accounting

- Minimum 5 years of combined finance and/or corporate accounting experience
- Excellent financial and analytical skills
- Ability to work and communicate with team members who have a range of financial acumen
- Strong organization and time management skills
- Experience in legal or risk management (preferred)
- Experience using Oracle and Anaplan (preferred)
