Senior UX Researcher Product & Enterprise Applications (Remote) We are seeking a Senior UX Researcher for a global B2B high-tech company. In this role, you will plan, lead, and execute research to understand the context, behaviors, and needs of employees or users using qualitative and quantitative methods, from discovery through implementation. This is a 6-month contract (extensions possible), 40-hour per week remote role in the US. This is a W2 role as a Stage 4 Solutions employee, with health benefits and 401K offered. Responsibilities:

  • Plan, lead, and execute research to understand the context, behaviors, and needs of employees or users using qualitative and quantitative methods, from discovery through implementation.
  • Select and apply appropriate research methodologies (e.g., interviews, surveys, usability testing, diary studies, field research) based on business questions and product maturity.
  • Partner closely with designers, product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure research is embedded throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Translate research insights into clear, actionable recommendations that inform product strategy, design decisions, and prioritization.
  • Communicate findings through compelling artifacts such as presentations, reports, charts, journey maps, personas, and visual summaries.
  • Synthesize data across multiple studies to identify patterns, themes, and opportunities.
  • Advocate for user-centered design by representing user needs and perspectives in product discussions and decision-making forums.
  • Support design and product teams during ideation, prototyping, and evaluation phases with ongoing research input.
  • Conduct evaluative research (e.g., usability testing, concept validation) to assess designs against user needs and usability principles.
  • Collaborate on defining research goals, success metrics, and learning agendas aligned with organizational objectives.
  • Ensure research quality, ethical standards, and data integrity throughout all studies.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience leading and conducting UX research for web-based and mobile applications across the full product lifecycle.
  • Strong command of a wide range of qualitative and quantitative research methods, including user interviews, usability testing, information architecture studies, surveys, concept testing, benchmarking, and data analysis.
  • Solid understanding of research fundamentals such as study design, sampling, statistics, and interpreting both behavioral and attitudinal data.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills, with the ability to clearly communicate insights to diverse audiences.
  • Proven storytelling skills, translating complex research findings into clear, compelling narratives that drive alignment and decision-making among stakeholders.
  • Experience working in highly technical, complex, and ambiguous environments, with the ability to adapt methods and approaches as conditions evolve.
  • Strong problem-solving mindset; proactive, resourceful, and able to operate effectively with minimal supervision.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple research initiatives simultaneously while meeting deadlines and maintaining quality.
  • Hands-on experience with research platforms and tools such as GreatQuestion, UserTesting, Qualtrics, and OptimalWorkshop.
  • Advanced degree preferred in Cognitive Science, Psychology, Human Computer Interaction (HCI), UX, or a related discipline; equivalent practical experience considered.
