Job Summary

As a Customer Service/Sales Representative at arenaflex, you will be responsible for providing fast, friendly service to our customers, assessing their needs, and providing assistance to sell entire projects. You will learn about our products using our tools, provide information to customers, and work in cooperation with your Department Supervisor and other associates to maintain a safe, clean, and shop-able store environment. Your primary goal will be to exceed customer expectations, drive sales growth, and contribute to the success of our store.

Key Responsibilities

* Provide fast, friendly service to customers by actively seeking them out to assess their needs and provide assistance

  • Learn about products using our tools and provide information to customers to sell entire projects
  • Greet, qualify, recommend, and close every customer in your department
  • Maintain the in-stock condition of assigned areas, ensuring they are clean, shop-able, and safe
  • Provide a safe working and shopping environment by following all safety policies & standards, completing specified safety training, and reporting hazards or unsafe conditions to the Manager on Duty
  • Work in cooperation with your Department Supervisor and other associates in your department as well as other departments
  • Participate in visual merchandising and inventory management to maintain a visually appealing store environment
  • Meet or exceed sales targets and customer satisfaction goals
  • Develop and maintain a thorough knowledge of arenaflex products, services, and promotions
  • Collaborate with other departments to provide a seamless shopping experience for customers

Essential Qualifications

* High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred

  • 1-2 years of retail experience, preferably in a customer-facing role
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations
  • Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
  • Basic math skills and accuracy with handling cash and operating a point-of-sale system
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods
  • Availability to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays

Preferred Qualifications

* Previous experience in a home improvement or retail environment

  • Knowledge of arenaflex products and services
  • Experience with visual merchandising and inventory management
  • Bilingual or multilingual skills
  • Previous experience in a leadership or supervisory role
