About the Opportunity

We have an exciting opportunity for a Freelance Experience Strategist to work with us through early 2025. This role will require approximately 8-20 hours per week, with an average of about 15 hours per week, and is starting immediately. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in helping us develop and implement innovative customer experience strategies that drive real results for our clients.

What You'll Be Working On

  • Support the development of comprehensive communications plans that meet our clients' goals and objectives
  • Develop channel briefs for social and digital creative to fulfill media plans, ensuring that all creative assets are aligned with our clients' brand strategies
  • Review creative work to ensure it meets brief requirements and platform best practices, providing constructive feedback and recommendations for improvement
  • Create and manage an omnichannel asset ecosystem document, mapping creative assets to audiences across the funnel and ensuring that all marketing channels are aligned and optimized
  • Consult on and contribute to briefs for various digital marketing channels, including social media, digital display, website, email, app engagement, and more, as needed

How You'll Excel in Your Role

To succeed in this role, you'll need to have a strong background in digital marketing and social media strategy, with a minimum of 5-10 years' experience in the field. You should be familiar with the basic principles of brand building and measurement, including brand trackers, audience segmentation, category dynamics, and principles of growth. Additionally, you'll need to be available for meetings in the PST timezone and be able to work independently with minimal oversight or training.

Essential Qualifications

  • 5-10 years' experience in digital marketing and/or social media strategy, with experience working on channels beyond social media
  • Familiarity with the basic principles of brand building and measurement, including brand trackers, audience segmentation, category dynamics, and principles of growth
  • Available for meetings in PST timezone
  • Ability to work independently with minimal oversight or training
  • Clear, competent, and confidence-inspiring communication style

  • Experience working with a range of digital marketing channels, including social media, digital display, website, email, and app engagement
  • Strong understanding of omnichannel marketing and the importance of aligning all marketing channels to deliver a seamless customer experience
  • Experience working with creative teams to develop innovative and effective marketing campaigns
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze data and provide insights that inform marketing strategies
