Job Summary

We are seeking compassionate and customer-focused individuals to join our remote team as Customer Service Representatives. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work with families and schools participating in the scholarship program, providing exceptional support and assistance to ensure that all questions are answered, callers are satisfied, and students are registered. If you possess excellent communication and problem-solving skills, a passion for helping others, and a strong work ethic, we encourage you to apply.

Key Responsibilities

* Respond to incoming calls related to student inquiries, scholarship applications, and funding status

  • Provide accurate and timely information to callers, ensuring that their questions are answered and concerns are addressed
  • Collaborate with the non-profit organization to resolve issues and provide support to families and schools
  • Utilize problem-solving skills to resolve complex issues and escalate concerns to management when necessary
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation of calls and interactions
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance skills and knowledge

Essential Qualifications

* At least one year of customer service or call center experience

  • English proficiency (a language assessment will be required)
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills with a focus on delivering an exceptional customer service experience
  • Ability to remain empathetic, personable, and compassionate during sometimes difficult or tense situations
  • Self-motivation, detail-orientation, and ability to multitask
  • Accurate typing and keyboard skills; comfort with PC/internet navigation

Preferred Qualifications

* Experience working in a non-profit or educational setting

  • Familiarity with scholarship programs or educational funding
  • Bilingual or multilingual skills (an asset)
  • Experience with CRM software or other customer service tools
