Job Summary

As a Full Stack Data Entry Specialist, you will be responsible for utilizing pharmacy systems to enter patient and drug information, processing prescriptions, and performing various clerical tasks. You will work closely with our pharmacy team to ensure accurate and efficient data entry, resolve customer issues, and provide exceptional customer service. This is a remote position, and you will be required to work independently with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities

* Utilize pharmacy systems to enter patient and drug information, process prescriptions, and perform various clerical tasks

• Assist pharmacists in scheduling and maintaining work flow
• Review and comply with arenaflex Co. Pharmacy Code of Conduct
• Perform duties as assigned by Pharmacy Manager, personnel Pharmacist, and store supervisor
• Register all related sales on assigned cash register, collect and handle coins as required
• Take customers to OTC aisle to assist in finding merchandise
• Handle telephone calls that do not require personal attention of the pharmacist
• Method (corrects and resubmits) claims for third-party prescription services in a timely and efficient manner
• Perform other clerical responsibilities as assigned by the store manager
• Assist and support Pharmacy department on stock management activities, including ordering, unpacking, checking, and storing shipment of prescription drugs
• Maintain knowledge of company asset safety procedures and document claims for warehouse overages (merchandise received, but not billed), shortages (merchandise billed, but not obtained), order mistakes or broken goods related to Rx capsules
• May assist pharmacist in administering medical services, including the collection and proper labeling of blood/urine samples from patients and other medical services as required
• Assist Pharmacy supervisor and personnel Pharmacist in developing and maintaining good relationships with the local medical community, including physicians, nurses, and other healthcare providers, through clinical provider detailing and outreach to healthcare agencies, retirement homes, nursing homes, and other forums for reinforcing growth opportunities
• Assist with outdoor and indoor maintenance by ensuring the pharmacy department is stocked with sufficient supplies, clean, neat, and orderly in appearance and condition

Education & Personal Development

* Earn and maintain % Certification through the unique % training program and/or state required certification/registration

• Otherwise, earn % Certification as a condition of promotion to senior technician
• Attend training and complete PPLs asked by manager and acquire continuing education credit
• Maintain expertise and skill in healthcare and pharmacy, including latest information and developments
• Through completion of the arenaflex pharmacy technician apprenticeship program, experience qualifies for 8 (8) college credit hours as recognized by the American Council on Education (ACE)

Basic Qualifications

* Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English (except in Puerto Rico)

Preferred Qualifications

* Choose six months of experience in retail surroundings

• Choose to have previous work experience with arenaflex
• Decide on desirable math skills to fill prescriptions accurately, including counting, measuring, and weighing medicines
• Decide on correct computer skills
• Decide on the knowledge of store inventory management
• Prefer % certification
